SYNTHIA presents at the IEEE HealthCom 2025 conference, during the session “Federated Learning and Medical Device Regulation: Bridging Gaps in Healthcare AI Governance,” held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from 21–23 October 2025.


The presentation is delivered by Gustavo Hernández Peñaloza from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, partner in the SYNTHIA consortium. The session explores how federated learning and synthetic data can contribute to the development of safe, effective, and ethically governed AI systems for healthcare.
