The Université Paris Cité.is organizing the 2025 edition of the Circle U. Summer School “Rethinking Global Health”. The event will be held from the 30 June to 5 July 2025 in Paris. Circle U., the European alliance brings together Université Paris Cité, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, King’s College London, UCLouvain, the University of Oslo, the University of Aarhus, the University of Belgrade, the University of Pisa and the University of Vienna.

The Circle U. Summer School offers a vibrant environment for exchange and collaboration between students and academics, encouraging open dialogue across a broad spectrum of global health topics.Participants will benefit from a rich blend of activities, including expert-led lectures, inspiring short talks from past Summer School alumni, collaborative group work, interactive scenario-based sessions, and social events themed around global health. The programme will tackle key issues such as local and global health inequalities, the implementation of health prevention strategies, challenges affecting vulnerable populations, gender and health, NGO perspectives, and the transition from colonial medicine to the emerging concept of planetary health. Additionally, the Summer School will explore groundbreaking topics like artificial intelligence and technological innovation, examining their transformative impact on the future of global health.
