SYNTHIA partner, The European Alliance for Personalised Medicine (EAPM), is co-organising the VISION Europe 2030 conference on 2–3 September 2025 at the Club University Foundation in Brussels. The conference is and co-funded by the EU4Health Programme. Under the theme “Disruptive Technologies, Democratized Trials & Next-Gen Treatment Paradigms,” the conference will address the growing gap between scientific potential and real-world delivery.

Katja Herzog, Scientific Project Coordinator at Fraunhofer ITMP, will present in the session “Precision Frontiers in Chronic Disease: A Global Strategy for Cancer Risk, Trials, and Treatment”.
This high-level conference brings together policymakers, clinicians, researchers, patients, and industry leaders to align disruptive technologies with equitable, system-wide healthcare reform. Topics include AI diagnostics, liquid biopsies, decentralized trials, genomic equity, and public–private innovation strategies. The event will conclude with the presentation of a draft Declaration for Precision Oncology Acceleration, outlining stakeholder priorities for a future-ready cancer control strategy.
SYNTHIA is a multidisciplinary collaboration of 32 consortium partners - SDG developers, FAIR data experts, clinical researchers, developers of therapies and data-based tools, legal experts, socio-economic analysts, regulatory, policy advocacy, and communication experts - that will provide a 360º vision on how to advance healthcare applications through Synthetic Data use. We are set to revolutionize the field of personalized medicine by harnessing the power of synthetic data (SD). SYNTHIA focusses on 6 impactful diseases: Lung cancer, Breast cancer, Multiple Myeloma, Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, Alzheimers Disease, and Type 2 diabetes. Read more >
